great feel, disappointing grip levels, especially on heavier cars. The AD08R is a has-been in the crop of 200 UTQG rubber

That is what I have heard too, but people seem to love them. I bet it is the tread pattern. It is pretty so people are like "it has to be fast"
Also, these are expensive!

I was assuming that they are like RE-11As, not the best at grip but maybe they have a long life and great road manners.
